• Do I need a startup idea or team to apply? No. We review and accept founders whether or not you have a specific startup idea already.

• What’s the difference between a Founder-in-Residence and a Co-founder? The Founder-in-Residence role is a paid position to explore and validate concepts with PriFi. When an idea is funded as a standalone venture, you step in as Co-founder of the new company.

• Do founders-in-residence receive a salary? Yes. You’ll receive a competitive salary during your time as a Founder-in-Residence, and once you become a Co-founder, we offer a salary plus equity.

• How does the selection process work? We review applications on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates will have an initial chat, followed by deeper interviews and possibly a collaborative working session. We move quickly once we see a fit.

• Do I need to be based in Sydney? Relocation is not mandatory, though we value face-to-face collaboration in the early stages of company building. You should be open to travel or in-person meetings as needed.
